On September 16th, Leni's third factory in Changzhou High tech Zone is about to officially start production in Binjiang Economic Development Zone, marking the entry of Leni's Changzhou factory into a comprehensive market-oriented expansion period targeting the new energy vehicle industry and becoming another "new force" in Changzhou's new energy vehicle industry.
Founded in 1917, Lenny Group is a leading global supplier of energy data management products, solutions, and services for the automotive and other industries, with investments in 32 countries worldwide. Currently, there are over 100000 employees and the total global sales in 2021 exceeded 5.1 billion euros.
In 1992, Lenny Group of Germany invested and established a factory in Changzhou, becoming the first German funded enterprise in the city, opening a new chapter of "dialogue with Germany". In 1994, Laini China moved to Changzhou High tech Zone and has been deeply cultivated for 28 years.
In the new round of industrial revolution, Leni China took the lead. Starting from three factories in Takata Industrial Park, Sanjing Street, the factory area expanded to over 72000 square meters today. In addition to standard and special cables, as well as customized wiring harness systems and related components, its main products also provide software solutions and architectural design and simulation services. In 2021, it achieved sales revenue of 2 billion yuan and tax revenue of 110 million yuan.
Lenny China entered the automotive cable industry in 2005, and we have been expanding into the new energy vehicle industry for a long time. Marcus, General Manager of Lenny Electric Cable (China) Co., Ltd., comes from Germany and has been working and living in China for 10 years.
He introduced that with the launch of Lenny China's third base in Sanjing Industrial Park in 2017, the Changzhou factory has also initiated a strategic transformation from a cable manufacturer to an industrial solution supplier. At present, Laini Cable has established four factories in China, including three in Changzhou High tech Zone and one in Panjin, Liaoning.
In 2021, the sales of Changzhou factory exceeded the People's Great Barrier of 2 billion yuan. Lenny has a 100% market share in the Chinese market for Ethernet cables that are segmented into cables. In addition, Leni's multiple cable products have a total market share of about 47% in well-known domestic host manufacturers such as Great Wall, SAIC, Geely, and BYD, ranking first in the country and being the "invisible champion" of the industry.
It is understood that the Leni New Energy Vehicle Cable Project located in Binkai District is a key project of the city this year, with a total investment of 200 million yuan. The project leases a standard factory building of 25000 square meters in Pingqian Modern Industrial Park, and will form an annual production capacity of 600000 kilometers of automotive wires and cables after reaching its capacity. It is expected to increase annual sales by 500 million yuan and increase annual tax revenue by 20 million yuan.
