In order to effectively strengthen the daily safety work of the company, on April 22, 2022, Comrade Liu Bing, president of Xin'an Fire Protection Association, visited Aitemu and led all staff to carry out an orderly Fire drill. The whole Fire drill lasted about two hours.
At 4 p.m., with the alarm bell ringing, the 2022 Aiteme annual Fire drill officially began. Colleagues walked down the stairs in an orderly and orderly manner while busy, and gathered in a queue at the company gate.
The main content of the training includes: explaining the fire extinguishing methods in case of fire accidents, reporting the company's fire protection layout, and conducting on-site demonstrations and teaching on the use of fire equipment.
Comrade Liu Bing first told everyone about the importance of Fire drill, taught everyone how to deal with fire when it comes, and tried to protect their own safety. For example, avoid taking the elevator, covering your mouth and nose with wet clothes, and other coping measures.
Then Comrade Liu Bing led everyone to learn the use of fire masks. Ten colleagues formed a group, each learning to use a fire mask. The key to using a fire mask is to open both the front and rear valves, and tighten the headband after wearing it. Each colleague has carefully studied the wearing method of fire masks and quickly and proficiently mastered the methods of use.
The next group learned about the use of fire extinguishers. The steps to use a fire extinguisher are "lifting, pulling, grasping, and pressing". Specifically, first lift the fire extinguisher upside down several times to loosen the dry powder inside; Then remove the lead seal, pull out the safety pin, hold the nozzle with one hand and the pressure handle with the other, and spray at the center of the flame two meters away. After a simple simulation exercise, administrative supervisor Yang Bin placed an oil bucket on the open ground and ignited a flame. Four colleagues worked together to carry out actual firefighting actions. After the active efforts of colleagues, the flames in the oil barrel were successfully extinguished.
Finally, the use of water guns. First, two people take out the water hose and water gun. One person is responsible for connecting the water hose and Fire hydrant. The other person is responsible for assembling the water gun and water hose and running to the fire site. After the two sides are connected, one person slowly opens the valve of the Fire hydrant, and the other person aims the water gun at the root of the flame for spraying.
Director Yang and a colleague from the administrative department first demonstrated, and then two colleagues went up to practice. The colleagues were full of emotions, actively involved, and sweating and running. Although they were not very proficient in using water guns for the first time, they still successfully connected to them in the end.
This fire drill enhanced the fire safety awareness of all colleagues, improved their ability to respond to emergencies such as fire, and effectively control emergencies in their daily work. During this exercise, there were some shortcomings that needed to be addressed and improved. In order to continuously improve the overall safety prevention and crisis management capabilities, emergency actions can be carried out quickly, orderly, and timely in the future.
